We always suggest starting with the 6 lesson package first to see if it’s a good fit with your instructor. Once the 6 lesson package is complete, you have the option to upgrade to the 12 lessons, you will just have to pay the difference owed. The addition of swim aids is novel and interesting, and is a fun addition to regular swimming drills. If you have 2 students in a class, we recommend going with either the 45 minute or 1 hour class. A pool feels about 20 degrees cooler than air temperature to a child and a 90 degree pool is like 70 degree air. Even though Southern California can get hot in the summer, you need to maintain a heated pool for the in home swim lessons. The focus should be on learning to swim well, and shivering and blue lips make for less effective learning.
